National Student Engagement Network

Event Report – 9th May 2023

Thank you to the teams at Dublin City University and Dublin City University Students’ Union (DCUSU) for their support in organising and hosting this exciting opportunity to bring students and staff from across the Irish higher education sector together again.

The focus of the event was on an upcoming project with Healthy Campus Ireland exploring ‘Student Engagement, Belonging and Wellbeing’, updates on NStEP’s training sessions this academic year, updates on some of the submissions on our Case Study Hub and of course, celebrating the recipients of  our Student Engagement Recognition Awards!

Speakers at the event explored a number of themes, including supporting students in governance and decision-making, student partnership in student services, SaPiA (student partnership in assessment), resources for supporting students’ union officers, and student success strategies.

If you weren’t able to join us in-person, please find the speaker presentations below, as well as our Event Report which includes contributor and attendee perspectives on the event.
