Representing Diversity Training
Class reps have a crucial role in ensuring that higher education is an inclusive and welcoming place, where every voice is heard and every student can become involved in shaping their learning experience. This training builds on the skills acquired in Introductory Class Rep Training, and introduces tools and resources that will help class reps effectively represent their diverse classmates and empower fellow students from all backgrounds and lived experiences to get involved in student engagement in decision-making.
Why sign up?
You will be awarded with a digital badge for completing this training module. This is a ‘milestone’ award, and can be used by reps to work towards NStEP’s Student Engagement Recognition Award.
Who should take this training?
The ‘open sessions’ listed here are available to any rep from NStEP’s 26 participating institutions It is ideal for any rep who has already completed Introductory Class Rep Training and would like to develop additional skills in the areas of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
