Take Part in the National Student Engagement Chat!

The Student Engagement Chat is an interactive initiative of the National Student Engagement Programme that will allow students and staff in Irish higher education to contribute to the national approach to student engagement.

We want to hear about your experiences of meaningful student engagement, so we have partnered with OpinionX to make sure your voice is heard!  The more staff and students who take part, the more ideas and opinions there are for participants to vote on.  It only takes approximately 5 minutes to inform the future of student engagement! It’s this simple:

To say thank you, NStEP will be giving away €50 One4all gift vouchers to randomly selected participants!

Student Engagement Chat will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, 3 June.  So don’t delay, get involved today!

We are excited to partner with OpinionX, an online participative tool
developed by DCU students Daniel Kyne and Darragh O’Flaherty.

NStEP’s work is supported by a conceptual framework and 10 Principles of Student Engagement, but the student engagement landscape has evolved in Ireland since these were first launched in 2016 – especially now that teaching, learning, and assessment have moved online due to Covid-19.  We feel it is time to update the framework to make it more practical and understandable, which will help NStEP to communicate the message of student engagement across the sector and shape a new vision for partnership between staff and students.
